In 1974, newly discharged from the service where he trained with the Sea Team and served on a helicopter rescue squadron, Dave Howard came to Kalamazoo to rejoin his family who had moved here during his deployments. Dave’s father was a minister whose specialty was starting new churches from the ground up so Dave was used to moving all over the Midwest but when he came to Kalamazoo he decided he was putting down roots HERE and NOW!

Almost immediately, despite knowing almost no one, Dave started his real estate career when he began working for Ty Carter at Ty Carter and Associates.  When Ty retired six years later Dave opened his own office, C. David Howard REALTOR® in 1980. After almost 30 years as an independent   Dave bought the CENTURY 21 franchise that is now CENTURY 21 C. Howard. 

Today, having reached REALTOR® Emeritus status, Dave Howard continues as a working Broker and is a three time CENTURY 21 Double Centurion Award Winner, has led his office to three CENTURY 21 Per Person Productivity Awards, has won national recognition as one of “The Thousand Top Real Estate Professionals” in America from REAL TRENDS/Wall Street Journal and was featured in TOP AGENT MAGAZINE in June of 2013.
